Hi there!

On behalf of the 2016 – 2017 District Member Recognition Committee, we present to you Member Recognition Mondays!  Every Monday, we will spotlight members throughout the district. for their dedication to Circle K.  Each month, Lt. Governors will nominate a member who embodies the prompt of the month.  This week, we will kick off our first MR Monday with Capital, Golden Gate, and Sunset!

Summer is often a slow time in Circle K.  However, there are members who inspire others to work hard no matter the time of the year.  This month, we asked Lt. Governors to spotlight a member who embodies staying active in Circle K throughout the summer season.  Read their nomination statements below:

Capital: Cody Yamada, UN Reno

Cody has been a phenomenal member for UNR as a past officer and general member.  He continues to sign up for events and be a leading example of a role model general member.  He will be graduating this upcoming fall, and we all know that in his time in Circle K at UNR, he has been able to make an inspiring impact because he found his was to remain passionate about the organization.  Thank you Cody!

Golden Gate: Neekon Broomand, Diablo Valley College

Neekon Broomand truly epitomizes service and serves as a selfless role model for Diablo Valley College and Golden Gate. Throughout the summer, he attended all of our Divisional Service Projects, several home club projects, and has facilitated more interaction within the division. He can be counted on to not only serve selflessly but also serve with passion.

Sunset: Tianna Nguy, Foothill College

I chose Tianna for this award because even though it is summer and most people take a break from Circle K work, she continues to work her hardest on her position's duties. She keeps herself busy with her position and is constantly interacting with the LTG's and all of the divisions to make sure she is getting her work done to the best of her ability. Sunset and I are very proud of Tianna for all of her continued hard work on the District level and we look forward to seeing all that she will achieve in the future.

Thank you to these members for all that they do!  Make sure to go to the Facebook post and let them know how great they are.  While you’re at it, tag a member from these divisions who inspires you to stay active in Circle K throughout the summer.  Let us know why they inspire you and check in next week when we spotlight members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill!

With Love,

2016-2017 District Member Recognition Committee
