Hi there! Welcome to another week of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize returning members who inspire others to be involved in Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:
Central Coast: Sopheak Suy, Ventura College
Sopheak has been motivating her members and her peers since day 1. Her effort to talk to members and to inspire their love for service has pushed the continuing members to fall in love with service as well! She is an inspiration for her club and is the driving force behind her club’s success.
Desert Oasis: Kristy Dai, UC Riverside
Kristy's bubbly, welcoming, and often hyper personality make her someone who sticks out to new members in a positive way. Members are drawn back to Circle K by both Kristy's hard work and personality. As VPS she has been planning events for the summer and fall which are sure to keep members returning for even longer.
Foothill: Kevin Garcia, CSU Los Angeles
Kevin always presents an optimistic atmosphere and brings life into any room! He inspires others to be in Circle K by encouraging others to share memories with one another and the value of fellowship! All of the Foothill Fam loves Kevin G. immensely as he is a dedicated, caring and admirable friend!
Thank you to these returning members for being so inspirational! Make sure to congratulate them when you see them in person. Also, don’t forget to thank your fellow returning members that have inspired you to be involved in Circle K and check back next week to see more members get recognized!
