MR Mondays: Week 1, November 2019

Happy November everyone! It’s the month to APPRECIATE and be THANKFUL!!! For the month of November, we are recognizing members who have made an impact on their home club since joining Circle K! This week, we are spotlighting members from the northern divisions of Capital, Golden Gate, and Sunset.

🦅Capital Division🦅
Shirley Wong, UC Davis
She’s a wonderful person that contirbutes much to the board. She is doing a great job with her position by making meeting event pages on Facebook, keeping the Instagram popping, and keeps the website up to date. She also helps other board members when they need help and puts a smile on everyone’s face.
Fun Fact: Shirley chokes her plushies when she goes to sleep. She also bullet journals! @shirletters on IG.

🌉Golden Gate Division🌉
Jabez Leo Aquino, Los Medanos College
Jabez has made a huge splash inside not only with Los Medanos College, but also Golden Gate. With his first semester only halfway through he has applied and received an officer position and has had major interest in division and club events. He brings his energy into the rooms he enters and even if he starts out shy he always ends up being a light in the room.
Fun Fact: Jabez learns musical instruments. So far he has learned the trumpet, baritone, tuba, french horn, and bass guitar.

🌅Sunset Division🌅
Jonathan Nguyen, UC Santa Cruz
For his position as Historian, Jonnie hits all the marks by attending and taking pictures of events and he was even able to download a great amount of photos for the Fall Training Conference opening slideshow. Though he’s doing an exceptional job in his position, I believe he should really be recognized for all the efforts he does to make new members as well as new officers feel welcome in the club. During club meetings and club and divisional events, he actively participates in conversations and has no problem doing so with people he just met. He’s not only welcoming, but you can definitely tell just how kind and generous he his once you get to know him.
Fun Fact: Jonnie has an IG for his cat, Miso! @miso_floofy
