Hi there! Welcome to another week of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize  members who share the gift of giving and embody the kindness, selflessness, and warmth of the holiday season Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Magic Kingdom, Metro, and Paradise! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:

Magic Kingdom: Jonathan Francisco, Cypress College

Jonathan has done so much for Cypress College such as offering rides and spotting other members in need. Jonathan has also contributed a lot of his free time to service events, as well as serving on multiple committees. Jonathan also makes an effort to truly bond with other members by asking to hangout and truly becoming their friend and family. Jonathan truly embodies the spirit of kindness, selflessness, and the warmth of the holiday!!

Metro: Lahiru Kodituwakku, El Camino College

If you've ever met Lahiru, you're always met with warm welcomes, a smile, and joy! Her kindness goes beyond than just her performing community service; it's in her friendships and work ethic. She helps others when in need and even supports you when you're feeling down!

Paradise: Alicia Chanes, UH Hilo

Alicia is a member who believes in the gift of giving. She took time and used her own money to buy gifts for Operations Christmas Child. She specifically said 'I'm fortunate enough to have the things that I want, so I think the kids should have something to look forward to on Christmas.

Thank you to these members for sharing the gift of giving! Make sure to congratulate them when you see them in person. Also, don’t forget to thank your fellow members who give selflessly to others and check back next week to see more members get recognized!
