Hi there! Welcome to another week of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize  members help others fall in love with Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:

Central Coast: Jose Padilla, UC Santa Barbara

Jose has been one of the friendliest and kindest members in CKI! His infectious behavior and charisma at CKI events rubs off of everybody in the room and he is a joy to be around! He is also such a great role model to other people in the club by chairing events and going to committee meetings!

Desert Oasis: Nathan Wong, UC Riverside

Attend a CKI at UCR event and it's likely that you will encounter (and possibly befriend) Nathan. He currently serves as his club's Membership Development & Education chair, meaning that he oversees our club's big/little and family systems. These systems are an integral part of the CKI at UCR experience and are often cited as some of members' favorite aspects of the club. In addition to his positional duties, Nathan also makes sure to reach out to and befriend new members (often through a mutual love of kpop). If you see him, you should tell him he's doing a great job (and maybe also get him a mung bean tea from 7Leaves)!

Foothill: Shari Evangelista, Pomona College

Shari's chill and loving personality shines throughout the Foothill Fam! From socializing throughout events to helping those in need, she demonstrates love for her environment! She makes members fall in love with CKI through her spicy contagious spirit and friendly vibes!

Thank you to these members for spreading their love for Circle K! Make sure to congratulate them when you see them in person. Also, don’t forget to thank your fellow members who helped you fall in love with Circle K and check back next week to see more members get recognized!
