Happy new year, CNH! Welcome to another month of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize  members who have the potential to be a future leader in Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Capital, Golden Gate, and Sunset! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:

Capital: Emilio Hernandez, Chico State

Emilio shows such a fiery passion in expanding leadership in Circle K at Chico State. Although a new member at a new club, he has really stepped up to the plate to serve as Vice President of Administration AND Service late in the term. He has a great vision for the club and how he can inspire the members around him. Emilio has a great future ahead for both him, Circle K, and for his community. I can’t wait to see what he will accomplish!

Golden Gate: Dion Medina, Diablo Valley College

Despite being a newly installed member, Dion has stepped up to be a reliable member of his board. On top of his duties, he is super funny and positive. He gives life to the club and he's just such a nice person to be around!

Sunset: Jeffrey Chang, De Anza College

Jeffrey Chang is a member with the potential to be a leader. You can tell through all the little things he does and how he cares for his other members. At Fall Training Conference he made sure to wake up another member that missed breakfast the day before. He went out of his way to care for someone else. It might seem like a mundane thing but it's in the consistent everyday where a true leader shines.

Thank you to these members for their dedication to Circle K! Make sure to congratulate them when you see them in person. Also, don’t forget to thank your fellow members who have stepped as as leaders and check back next week to see more members get recognized!
