Hi there! Welcome to another month of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize new members who stand out for their involvement in Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Capital, Golden Gate, and Sunset! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:

Capital: Brian Manganaan, Sacramento State

Brian has been putting a lot of time into Circle K from the time he has joined Sac State CKI. Whether it is to provide carpool, go to regular service events, or even bonding with fellow members, Brian is always down for adventures. He also has a great and positive attitude that is incredibly infectious with everyone around him! I love him.

Golden Gate: Roger Her, CSU East Bay

Roger stands out for showing his support for his club since joining this Fall Quarter. He was able to come out to every general meeting so far and hang out with us during after-meeting socials. His enthusiasm and support for us since transferring from Fresno City College to Cal State East Bay is strong. We can't wait to see the great impact that Roger will bring.

Sunset: Tommy Huynh, San Jose State

Tommy used to rarely talk at meetings. He was shy, quiet and usually sat by himself. This continued for a few meetings, but then we got the chance to talk to him more at our socials. Ever since then, Tommy has gone to every single service event (legit every service event, like holy moly), gone to every social and has created a nice spot for himself within our Circle K community at SJSU. Tommy is one of our first year members attending FTC and I can't wait for all of Cali Nev Ha to meet the unstoppable force that is Tommy Huynh.

Thank you to these new members for going above and beyond! Make sure to congratulate them when you see them in person. Also, don’t forget to thank your fellow new members who stand out for their involvement in Circle K and check back next week to see more members get recognized!
