Hi there! Welcome to another week of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize new members who stand out for their involvement in Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:
Magic Kingdom: Yeonsoo Kim, Orange Coast College
Yeonsoo is a new general member at Orange Coast College! However, she did not shy away from all the activities that our club, division, and district hosted. She participated in multiple service events, such as Park your Paws. In addition, she participated in many general meetings, our monthly socials at 7 Leaves, CKI South, and Fall Training Conference! Yeonsoo has a kind heart and has been a great addition to our club, making everyone feel the fellowship. Not a lot of new members can immediately jump into an unfamiliar organization so quickly and we commend Yeonsoo for her participation and dedication.
Metro: Shaadi Sabeti, Pierce College
As a new member, Shaadi has stood out by stepping up as Pierce's Tech Editor. She has already attended countless service projects like their continuing service project with Operation Gratitude as well as helped out with their club rush tabling.
Paradise: Kathy Ha, CSU San Marcos
Kathy has become very active within the division by attending divisional events and also attending other school meetings! She has also, even though this is her first year in CKI, taken up a board position to help her club!
