Hi there! Welcome to another week of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize members who promote spirit in Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:

Central Coast: Laura Perez-Landin, UC Santa Barbara

Laura has been making cheers for her own home club all month and has taught cheers at general meetings during Spring Quarter! She's always one of the louder people at district events and she cheers every single time!

Desert Oasis: Vanessa Kumnoonsate, UC Riverside

Watch out, CNH - with Vanessa in charge of CKI at UCR's spirit and unity, our club is sure to make its presence known at this fall's district events! Although school has not yet commenced for UCR as of the time I'm writing this, Vanessa has still been at work during the summer. Thanks to her, our club already has a nice draft of what's sure to be an amazing FTC skit! With a personality as sweet as our club's theme, Vanessa is sure to spread her positive spirit to all our new members this fall!

Foothill: Jenny Koug, Pasadena City College

Jenny Koug embodies spirit as her energy and character is never unrecognized! She promotes the spirit of Circle K through her passion, love, and enthusiasm to help everyone around her. Jenny radiates enthusiasm throughout her fellow phoenixes and can always light up a room. <3

Thank you to these members for showing so much spirit! Make sure to congratulate them when you see them in person. Also, don’t forget to thank your fellow members that have promoted spirit in Circle K and check back next week to see more members get recognized!
