Hi there!

Welcome to Member Recognition Mondays: December Holiday Edition!  Each month, Lt. Governors will nominate a member who embodies the prompt of the month.  This week, we will spotlight members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill!

Congratulations to everyone who has made it through finals!  However, many of us are still drowning in deadlines and finals – but no fear!  The holidays and winter break are right around the corner.  Thus, we asked Lt. Governors to spotlight a member who shares the gift of service and embodies the kindness and selflessness of the holiday season.  Read why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:

Central Coast: Kayla Wong, UC Santa Barbara

She has put on successful programs with her co-chair Helen He for our club such as our Family System, Big and Little system, and Member Installations on top of her work, school, and other extracurriculars! She also always offers her apartment for CKI committee meetings and other CKI events as well!

Desert Oasis: Sabrina Yang, UC Riverside

I chose Sabrina because even though this is her first year in Circle K, she has truly been a warm-hearted person at division events. I admire her personality, positivity, and eagerness to stay involved.

Foothill: Valerie Paredes, CSU Los Angeles

Valerie always fills the club meetings with her presence of warmth and kindness. She truly cares about the members from CSULA and is always in the holiday spirit.

Thank you to these members for their wonderful dedication to Circle K!  You are truly special and help make Circle K a worthwhile experience for those around you.  Make sure to go to the Facebook post and let them know how great they are.  While you’re at it, tag a member from these divisions who stands out for their cheerful spirit and giving nature.  Let us know why they inspire you and check in next week when we spotlight members from Magic Kingdom, Metro, and Paradise.  Hope that our friends who have conquered finals are getting some well-deserved rest and relaxation.  Good luck to everyone who still has finals this week and we shall see you on the other side! 🙂

With Love,

The 2016-2017 District Member Recognition Committee
