The District Board shall aim to improve Kiwanis Family Relations by:
- 1.Creating a bi-monthly Kiwanis Family Contact Form that will help improve and build relations between Circle K clubs and their local Kiwanis Family clubs. The bi-monthly Kiwanis Family Contact Form will allow the District Board to keep track of how much a club contacts local Kiwanis Family clubs, through meetings, service projects, and other Kiwanis Family events. We will have a 4-month follow up to check effectiveness and progress.
The District Board shall aim to promote the meaning of service by:
- 1.Informing the District about organizations being served. This will be implemented through bi-monthly service organization spotlights on the District Website and social networks, facilitated by the District Service committee.
- 2.Furthermore, the Public Relations committee will create a service memories page on the website where members can share personal service experience, which will be up by September.
The District Board shall aim to increase education about the Membership Recognition Program by:
- 1.Properly educating clubs about the Membership Recognition Program (MRP) and striving to achieve more MRP submissions from the clubs. The District Board and the Membership Development & Education Committee will educate clubs about the MRP through the usage of manuals, workshops, videos, and other means of effective communication.
The District Board shall aim to promote the awareness of the District Service Initiative and District Fundraising Initiative by:
- 1.Actively promoting the DSI and DFIs throughout the Circle K administrative year through collaboration between all District Board members and facilitation by the District Service Committee and the District Finance & Fundraising Committee.
- 2.Utilizing the District website to include progress meters, service projects spotlights, and fundraiser spotlights.
- 3.Providing general marketing and educational resources to clubs such as PowerPoint presentations, brochures, fliers, and District DSI/DFI reports.
The District Board shall aim to increase District unity and increase District Board transparency by:
- 1.Implementing divisional interclubbing through the hosting of 2 service/fundraiser events with another division in which 2 or more clubs from each division shall be present (each club present should have 2 representatives).
- 2.Aiming to have divisions host at least 1 service/fundraising event with another division by FTC. In addition, divisions must host at least 1 service/fundraising event with another division between the time span of Fall Training Conference and District Convention.
