DECISION REGARDING 2012 FALL TRAINING CONFERENCE ALCOHOL-RELATED INCIDENT

There was a report made that there were Circle K-ers consuming alcoholic beverages at the Fall Training Conference (“FTC”) held November 2 through 4, 2012, in Sonora, California. This report summarizes the investigation and determinations. In keeping with fairness and reasonable diligence, seven students were interviewed in the presence of their advisor, and an additional one by telephone. The students named were given an opportunity to respond to the draft decision in order for their responses to be considered before a final decision was made. FTC Campfire Skits and Talent Acts

Written by Truong Pham.

Hello CNH Circe K!

Fall Training Conference is almost here & you know what that means.... IT'S TIME TO SHOW OFF YOUR CLUB SKITS AND TALENT ACTS!

Campfire Skits:
Each year, a few lucky clubs are chosen to perform a skit at Fall training Conference. These skits usually involve the FTC theme (WONDERLAND), Club Theme, visual aids (i.e. props), and teach a moral lesson all while entertaining the crowd. To apply you will need to have your script fully written out, a video audition with the skit, and a written application. Keep in mind that the quality of your video audition MATTERS and the better your video audition, the better your chance is of getting chosen! If you still need a little more guidance, we have a tips and tricks manual on how to make a great FTC skit attached to this email (Many thanks to last years Campfire Skit Chair Danny Ha for making it!). The Campfire Skits will be judged and the skit with the most points will get a prize!

Talent Acts
If you have any talents that you would like to showcase to the district, this is the time to do so! You can either do a talent act as a division, club, or individually as well. Any and all talents are welcomed such as singing, dancing, playing an instrument, doing magic tricks, etc. Inclusion of the FTC theme (WONDERLAND) will be preferred, but mostly we are looking for entertainment. To apply you will need to have a video audition with your talent act and a written application. Keep in mind that the quality of your video audition MATTERS and the better your video audition, the better your chance is of getting chosen! The Talent Acts should focus on TALENT and not be like a skit. The Talent Acts will not be judged, so once you're chosen to perform, you're all set to go!

Both applications are due FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12TH @ 11:59PM SHARRRRP! Any applications turned in after the date will not be considered. Be sure to turn both the written application and video audition in by this time.
