Hi there! Welcome to another week of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize members who share the gift of giving and embody the kindness, selflessness, and warmth of the holiday season Circle K. This week, we are spotlighting members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:
Central Coast: Claudia Alegre, UC Santa Barbara
Claudia can often be seen at general meetings and at service events speaking to newer members and being the friendliest member at events! Catch her always being friendly at district events as well!
Desert Oasis: Nina Schatz, UC Riverside
Nina embodies the spirit of giving by always attending service events. She is active within all of the club's other activities as well, such as socials, workshops, and district events. As our October member of the month she was entitled to a $20 MOM dinner paid for by the club, but she instead chose to donate this money to our division's Penny Wars efforts which benefited the three district fundraising initiatives!
Foothill: Jasmine Barruga, CSULA
Jasmine embodies warmth and positivity towards everyone within the division! Her spirit is noticeable at every event as she's immensely inclusive, caring, and, loving. Her devotion towards CKI never dies as she is heavily involved. From serving as current CSULA fundraising chair, FTC team captain, past president and much much more! Her love is always there and appreciated as one of the most hardworking members of the Foothill Division!
