DLSSP North, Southeast, and Southwest Recap

During the second and third weekend of February, the CNH District Service Committee held three DLSSP events for members all across CNH! Thank you to everyone who came out to DLSSP North, Southeast and Southwest, and we hope you had a blast serving the community!
For DLSSP North, members from the Captial, Golden Gate, and Sunset divisions collaborated with La Escuelita Elementary, Lincoln Elementary, and Emerson Elementary in a school fair to help benefit the Oakland community. The funds will be used to help gather classroom materials and projects in the Oakland area. They also hosted a book drive with Better Works Books!
During DLSSP Southeast, members throughout Citrus, Desert Oasis, and Paradise hosted a Valentine’s Day carnival event at Boys and Girls Club in Costa Mesa. They helped with set up and clean up game booths, and even hosted workshops!
Lastly, DLSSP Southwest was a service event for the Central Coast, Desert Oasis (NV schools), Foothill, and Metro divisions of the district. They helped beautify two Boys & Girls facilities in Long Beach. Here, they helped with painting or landscaping, ensuring the spaces are well-kept for the children who visit.
