Good Afternoon Sunny CNH!

We’ve reached the end of the month which means we’re going to be recognizing the October Members of the Month! Please give a round of applause for these individuals from all nine of our divisions!

Congratulations to…

🦅Capital Division🦅
Mia Kirsten Santos, UC Davis

Mia has an amazing ability to make people feel comfortable around her with seemingly no effort at all. She has welcomed the new members of the club and is constantly trying to make connections with everyone around her. UC Davis is lucky to have such a caring (and insanely creative) Public Relations Chair this year!

Fun Fact: Mia works at Yogurtland!

🐢Central Coast Division🐢
Leina Pimont, Moorpark College

Leina is an incredibly kind and compassionate person that will make sure you feel welcome. She is someone that tries to lend a hand to everyone and is smiling as she does. Do yourself a favor and get to know Leina!

Fun Fact: Leina is an international student from France!

🍊Citrus Division🍊
Danny Oliveras, Saddleback College

He’s always active and ready to participate in any events, a positive influence on the club with his humor, and is always putting a smile on everyone’s face. He also tries his best to contribute to the club despite being a general member and always gives us great ideas and input.

Fun Fact: He is really into horror movies.

🌵Desert Oasis Division🌵
Alex Amaya, UN Las Vegas

Alex has always been the welcoming face that every new person sees when they join our club for the first time. We’re so grateful to have an awesome member like her! <3
Fun Fact: She collects plushies!

🔥Foothill Division🔥
Benecia Kwan, Pasadena City College
Benecia has shown her dedication early on into her Circle K career! She has been consistently showing up at services, socials, meetings, and even extra game nights held by her home club PCC. During this whole time, Benecia is in a completely different time zone, hopping in at early and late hours of the day just to attend a few CKI events. We hope to see a lot more of her in the upcoming years.
Fun Fact: She is currently in Singapore!

🌉Golden Gate Division🌉
Brandon Ramirez, University of San Francisco

Brandon is the President at USF Circle K and has been hosting events for his members all semester long. He also attends other school’s events to support his fellow Presidents!

Fun Fact: Brandon lives in Texas!

🚊Metro Division🚊
Naomi Olpindo, El Camino College

Naomi is the VPS at ECC, and she really impressed me when I learned that she had reached out to the American Lung Association to present at a workshop her club was planning. Naomi worked really hard and diligently with her president and fellow board members, as well as fellow co-hosts, to ensure that the event went smoothly – it did, combined with an impressive turnout of about 50 attendees, notably members of local KIWIN’S and Key Clubs who were invited. ECC is one of Metro’s smaller clubs, but Naomi has helped show that even the smallest clubs have great potential to serve and lead our communities.

🍍Paradise Division🍍
Anthony Valero, Grossmont College

Anthony has been super outgoing with our club and loves to just interact with members. Not only that, but he also serves as our clubs ICC chair and gets involved with what other clubs at Grossmont College is doing as well.
Fun Fact: Anthony serves as Grossmont’s Vice President!

🌅Sunset Division🌅
Wilson Mui, UC Santa Cruz

Wilson Mui is reppin’ the Grad students in CNH! Always super helpful and outgoing with members and builds a sense of community for the club.

Fun Fact: CenCo (UCSB) —> Sunset (UCSC) studying Computational Media
