Good Afternoon Sunny CNH!

We’ve reached the end of the month which means we’re going to be recognizing the January Members of the Month! Please give a round of applause for these individuals from all nine of our divisions!

Congratulations to…

🦅Capital Division🦅
Chio Saeyang, CSU Sacramento

Throughout the whole term so far he’s been putting in so much hard work in planning for service events whether it be on the club level or divisional level despite the online format. Along with this, he’s just overall a great person in bridging the connection between members throughout the district.

Fun Fact: He holds onto stickers because he’s too afraid to use them and for memory sake.

🐢Central Coast Division🐢
Brian Nito, CSU Channel Islands

Brian is a hardworking VPS from CSU Channel Islands. He has hosted multiple inter-clubs and provided opportunities for his members during this online period.

🍊Citrus Division🍊
Shania Relucio, UC Irvine

This person has been super active within the club ever since she joined about four months ago. Although this is her first year in college, she was the lieutenant governor for her previous key club division, and her experience shows. She is in four or more different committees within our own club, and she even joined an international committee on top, despite being rather new to Circle K. I am currently a big fan of Circle K, and it amazes me how active she is within the own fam, but also how much she is involved in events that revolve around all three main tenets of Circle K. Therefore, I think she definitely deserves the recognition!

Fun Fact: “Hummus and avocado together on a piece of toast is absolutely fire” – Shania

🌵Desert Oasis Division🌵
Ahtziri Rodriguez, UC Riverside

This was Ziri’s first year on board, but she has definitely made a huge impact already! I’m very excited to see where the future holds, because I know she will continue to be great. 🙂

Fun Fact: Ask her for her Glossier discount code bc she has one LOL

🔥Foothill Division🔥
Tatiana Milanez, Pasadena City College

As a new appointed board officer, Tati has already made the most of her first few months! She has hosted multiple social events, even helping out other club officers with activities for their projects! Additionally, Tati is active on the divisional level, attending projects and putting a smile on all our faces.

Fun Fact: She loves playing video games and collecting POP figures!

🌉Golden Gate Division🌉
Caitlin Aladham, UC Berkeley

Caitlin is a hardworking, dedicated member of UC Berkeley Circle K and the Golden Gate Division. She has hosted lots of fundraising events including the club’s most recent event, Pageant K! The club is truly lucky to have Caitlin.

🚊Metro Division🚊
Hannah Macarenas, CSU Long Beach

I would like to take the time and recognize all the hard work Hannah did in coordinating Metro Division’s January DCM, where she interned as Lieutenant Governor and successfully oversaw its planning, as well as intern DLT meetings in the weeks prior. For a team that previously had no idea how a DCM was run or how DLT prepared for it, we were quite happy with how it turned out. During planning, Hannah never hesitated to reach out and remained confident, even through her initial nervousness about handling the DCM and leading her fellow interns. This was definitely one of the most exciting divisional events we’ve been able to host, and it would not have been possible without her leadership. In addition, Hannah continues to actively serve her home club as their Spirit & Social Chair, helping chair many fun workshops and socials, as well as inspiring others through her constant upbeat attitude. Many members, I’m sure, can attest to this, and it is for these reasons that I believe she should be nominated.

Fun Fact: Hannah loves to dance! If you’ve ever attended a CSULB CKI event or checked out their TikTok, it’s very likely that you’ve seen her moves!

🍍Paradise Division🍍
Pinky Ho, San Diego State University

She is always there for the members willing to lend a hand in planning, organizing, and executing events. She is very supportive of all the visions that the board comes up with. She is not a leader that always is telling people what they need to do, but she helps to guide people in the right direction, so they can succeed on their own. She is always there to support our members outside club events as well by giving help with classes when needed and life advice. She is also always there when you need someone to talk to.

Fun Fact: Pinky is a big fan of Disney and Marvel!

🌅Sunset Division🌅
Joey Duong, San Jose State University

She might be new to Sunset but she’s involved like she’s been here forever.

For MR Mondays next month, we’ll be an opportunity for you guys to shout out members who have inspired you, supported you, or are deserving of recognition through Member Recognition Tag!
