Hi there!

Welcome to Member Recognition Mondays: December Holiday Edition!  Each month, Lt. Governors will nominate a member who embodies the prompt of the month.  This week, we will spotlight members from Capital, Golden Gate, and Sunset!

Although many of us are drowning in deadlines and finals, the holidays and winter break are right around the corner.  Thus, we asked Lt. Governors to spotlight a member who shares the gift of service and embodies the kindness and selflessness of the holiday season.  Please read the Lt. Governors’ nomination statements below:

Capital: Christine Almendras, UN Reno

I chose her because Christine is a very warm person.  She looks good in photos and makes my newsfeed a little more aesthetically pleasing.  I admire all the work she puts into traveling and doing what she can to help her home club.

Golden Gate: Sharry Pham, CSU East Bay

Sharry is as kind as she is beautiful inside and out. Since the first day we met she has been as encouraging, helpful, and giving as possible. Every encounter or conversation we have is a moment to treasure and her warmth spreads wherever she goes. I am so glad she is a part of Golden Gate!

Sunset: Alan Baez, De Anza College

I chose Alan because of his constant, warm attitude towards everyone he speaks with. He does an impeccable job at making everyone feel welcomed into whatever he is doing. Alan is the perfect hype man.

Thank you to these members for their dedication to Circle K!  You are truly special and help make Circle K a worthwhile experience for those around you.  Make sure to go to the Facebook post and let them know how great they are.  While you’re at it, tag a member from these divisions who stands out for their cheerful spirit and giving nature.  Let us know why they inspire you and check in next week when we spotlight members from Central Coast, Desert Oasis, and Foothill!

With Love,

The 2016-2017 District Member Recognition Committee
