Hi there! Welcome to the third week of Member Recognition Mondays. Every month from August until February, we will be recognizing members from all over the district for their involvement and dedication to Circle K. This month, we asked the Lt. Governors to recognize members who have stayed active in Circle K during the summertime. This week, we are spotlighting members from Magic Kingdom, Metro, and Paradise! Read about why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:

Magic Kingdom: Adolfo Alan Garduno, Orange Coast College

Alan has been super active throughout the summer, and even before when he joined Circle K at OCC. Not only has Alan attended multiple events, but he supports the club board by helping out whenever he can and taking leadership opportunities left to right!

Metro: James Cortes, Pierce College

At times he might have a busy schedule, but throughout the summer James has attended many service and fellowship events as well as attended other clubs' events.

Paradise: Melia Takakusagi, UH Hilo

Melia has taken the initiative this month to both create and attend a service project during the most inactive part of the year, the summer months. She is truly dedicated to her position as Vice President of Service and to UH Hilo CKI.

Thank you to these members for all of their involvement in Circle K during the summer! Make sure to congratulate them when you see them in person. Also, don’t forget to thank your fellow members that have stayed active in the summer and check back next week to see more members get recognized!

If you would like to nominate a returning member that inspires others to be involved in Circle K, go to bit.ly/September17MRM. The form will be open until 10PM tonight.
