Good Afternoon Sunny CNH!

Welcome to yet another season of Member Recognition (MR) Mondays provided by the District Member Recognition Committee for the 2019-2020 term! Member Recognition Mondays is a district recognition program allowing Lieutenant Governors to spotlight their members through California, Nevada, and Hawai’i for their contributions in Circle K International. To kick August off, we are recognizing members who have continued to stay active during the summer.

For this term, we have decided to bring back fun facts about our spotlights!

Without further ado, for this first week, we will be recognizing members from the northern divisions: Capital, Golden Gate, and Sunset.

🦅Capital Division🦅
Michelle Chan, CSU Sacramento

Michelle has been one of the most active and passionate members over summer. She attends almost every service event, social event, and division event. She said she is trying to attend everything she can over the summer and to stay active. She currently has over 60 hours as a general member at Sacramento State. She is always on-time, if not early to service events. During every service event, even when it’s over 90 degrees, Michelle continues to work hard and do her best in anything that needs to be done. Her dedication and passion for this organization inspires many others to work as hard as she does. Michelle also drives this super cute and small electric car to events.
Fun Fact: She can play the piano, ukulele, and violin.

🌉Golden Gate Division🌉
Emilia Bury, Santa Rosa Junior College

Emilia has been doing so much this term! We love her enthusiasm to attend events and always being ready to do service. She’s always the first to bring up new ideas and questions that push her club to do new things!
Fun Fact: She loves baking

🌅Sunset Division🌅
Kayla Lee, CSU Monterey Bay

Kayla has been active this summer as a part of the newest club within our division! She has made an effort to keep up with everything that’s happening within Sunset and even found the time to go to the first ever Sunset Board Retreat earlier this month!
Fun Fact: She loves to collect cute stationery

Stayed tuned for next week as we recognize three members from the central divisions!
