Good Afternoon Sunny CNH!

Finals season has arrived, I hope you have all been taking care of yourself taking occasional breaks, staying hydrated, and nourished.

This week, we are spotlighting members from the central division for inspiring others to stay in CKI. Check out who were chosen and why below!

🐢Central Coast Division🐢
Jessica Olivas, UC Merced

Jessica currently serves as the Vice President of Administration, and as the Spirit Chair of Central Coast Circle K! Jessica actively pursues Circle K with a passion, as she works hard to help maintain UC Merced’s Circle K, as well as a driving force in writing cheers and providing options for spirit packs as a part of our Division Leadership Team! Jessica also recently wrote a cheer learned by our entire division called “CENCO, Let’s Go” which was done at our most recent Fall Training Conference! In addition, Jessica proposed the idea of including flower crowns within our spirit packs, as well as finding affordable options for our spirit pack! We’re extremely proud of Jessica’s hard work, and are extremely excited to have her!
Fun Fact: Jessica is very crafty as she’s currently making a spirit stick for the division!

🌵Desert Oasis Division🌵
Maggie Ly, UC Riverside

Having moved from Northern California this past quarter to start her first year of college at UC Riverside, Maggie has become incredibly involved in this past month and has found her place within our Circle K family. As she continues to grow and become more active, we hope that she is able to find her home away from home here through service, fellowship, and leadership!
Fun Fact: Maggie can do basic palm readings taught herself how to knit/crochet!

🔥Foothill Division🔥
Sergio Barrios, Cal Poly Pomona

Sergio has inspired many people to continue in Circle K. By stepping up and becoming Cal Poly Pomona’s Vice President of Service while also serving as Foothill Division’s Spirit and Creativity Chair, Sergio continues to inspire people to stay in Circle K with his unwavering leadership, service and fellowship. By having such an approachable aura he can befriend anyone who he comes into contact with. Not only does he inspire his club to remain active as he is an active big and member in his club, but continues to inspire the division to remain spirited and contributes heavily to the overall morale of Foothill. Sergio puts the YEE in YEET and is an amazing Vice President, leader and friend!
Fun Fact: Sergio loves to salsa!

That’s all for this week folks! Don’t forget to tune in next week when we spotlight the southern divisions!
