August is soon coming to an end which means we have reached the final week pertaining to our prompt of spotlighting members who have continued to stay active this summer! This week, we are recognizing members from the southern divisions comprising of Citrus, Metro, and Paradise.

 

🍊Citrus Division🍊
Garrett Moore, CSU Fullerton

Garrett is more than a gifted individual who has a knack for graphics and Star Wars but has an enormous heart for helping others and a plethora of jokes. He has consistently impressed his club by both his budding design skills and commitment to our organization. If you want to say hi, you can catch this Citrus Cutie at your local service project or performing at 88rising! 
Fun Fact: Garrett is playfully nicknamed as Joji by our club members some times.
 
🚊Metro Division🚊
Nina Nguyen, University of Southern California

Nina has been an exceptional member since the beginning of the school year. Her artistic ability has proved to be essential to her home club and she is no stranger to overcoming adversity. Although she is not an officer, the support she gives to the board through her designing experience shows her dedication to the tenant of leadership. Her passion for CKI and the amount she contributes, even over summer, to her club is exceptional. There is no doubt that she will continue to be an amazing member to USC Circle K.
Fun Fact: Nina really likes anime.
 
🍍Paradise Division🍍
Marné Ramirez Amoguis, UC San Diego

Even with the beginning of summer break and a busy schedule, Marné has continuously showed support for her home club as well as the division and the Kiwanis Family. She remains active within her club as well as being part of the Divisional Leadership Team. She attends various service events and other club meetings and encourages others to attend, as well as driving to events. She has helped with major events such as a Kiwanis Annual Pancake Breakfast as well as planning for DCM. Her leadership and dedication definitely shows when you see her and she continues to be an amazing member of the division. 
Fun Fact: She’s been 5’4” since she was 10 years old
