Oh, here’s the tea CNH!

This week’s Sunspot gives you a breakdown of the November District Board Meeting that was held (1) week ago today! This board meeting had a variety of topics that were discussed – ranging from a Chair Appointment to our upcoming District Large Scale Service Project!

Don’t know what a District Board Meeting is? Check out this TLDR from LAST DBM Recap

Now you might be wondering, what is a District Board Meeting (DBM)? As per CNH District Bylaws, DBMs are: open to the general membership, occur a minimum of five times per term. Continually, these meetings convene to discuss major proposals, policies, and decisions that pertain to various aspects of the CNH District.
Although the only voting members at DBMs are Elected District Board of Officers (ie. District Governor, District Secretary, District Treasurer, Lieutenant Governors), they were elected to represent YOU, and ensure that the concerns of the division and district are heard. I encourage each of you to review the DBM packets (which are sent out to Club & Divisional Leadership) before each meeting and ensure that your concerns are heard by the District, regarding any of the items that are on the agenda for the meeting. The CNH District encourages members to reach out to District Officers to ensure any questions, comments, or concerns are being heard and put into consideration by the voting officers during DBMs.

For the November District Board Meeting the District Board went over a wide variety of topics, so be sure to check out summaries & impacts below!
