Hi there!

Welcome to Member Recognition Mondays: December Holiday Edition!  Each month, Lt. Governors will nominate a member who represents the prompt of the month.  This week, we will spotlight members from Magic Kingdom, Metro, and Paradise.

Congratulations to everyone for making it through finals!  We can finally embrace freedom from school and the lovely holiday season <3  Therefore, we asked Lt. Governors to spotlight a member who shares the gift of service and embodies the kindness and selflessness of this time of the year.  Read why their Lt. Governors nominated them below:

Magic Kingdom: Derek Tran, UC Irvine

Derek always has a smile on his face and is extremely warm and welcoming to all Circle K’ers. His jubilant personality allows any in his presence to feel at home.

Metro: Gabby Baniqued, CSU Long Beach

Gabby is one of the most caring members in Circle K. As a new member, she’s dedicated much of her first semester in college exploring Circle K, lending a hand at service events and being of assistance to other members whenever needed. She is a driven and passionate person and inspires others to continue serving, even in the smallest ways possible.

Paradise: Melody Azani, UC San Diego

Melody’s caring personality really embodies the holiday spirit. She gives so much without expecting anything in return. Melody is someone who goes out of her way to make sure that everyone feels welcome and comfortable. She always has genuine and kind words for everyone.

Thank you to these members for their wonderful dedication to Circle K!  You are truly special and help make Circle K a worthwhile experience for those around you.  Make sure to go to the Facebook post and let them know how great they are.  While you’re at it, tag a member from these divisions who stands out for their cheerful spirit and giving nature.  Let us know why they inspire you and check in next week when we spotlight the November Members of the Month from across the district!

With Love,

The 2016-2017 District Member Recognition Committee
